Aiyedatiwa’s educational policy has yielded good results as OAUSTECH gets a boost to run cybersecurity, meteorology, marine science and many other postgraduate programs.
These new initiatives will equip students with advanced skills necessary to compete effectively in the global job market. The marine science program will systemically transform and improve the innate abilities of the local residents in coastal communities—especially youth—into more lucrative professional paths.

Adeyeye Atibani, a member of the university’s governing council, shared this information to our reporter argued that,this will not be possible without the support of the governor and took the opportunity to urge concerned Ondo state people,Nigerians and government organizations to collaborate with Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in the upcoming years, to fully develop the university.
He expressed gratitude towards the leadership of OSOPADEC, led by Hon. Prince Biyi Poroye, for their efforts to finalize the incomplete student hostels within the university. He then advised the students to maximize the available resources and avoid actions that could jeopardize their future.

Additionally, he extended his appreciation to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Temi Ologunorisa, and the governing council chaired by Professor Akinbo Adesomoju for their dedication and contributions.
