APC Chieftain, Sola Jimoh, Applauds Governor Aiyedatiwa on Poroye’s Appointment.
A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Dr. Sola Jimoh, has commended the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for what he described as a well-considered and strategic appointment of Prince Biyi Poroye as the Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC).
Dr. Jimoh, in a statement made available to the press, hailed the Governor’s decision as a demonstration of political wisdom, inclusiveness, and commitment to strengthening governance in oil-producing communities. He noted that the appointment of Prince Poroye, a grassroots mobilizer and experienced administrator, is a step in the right direction and will no doubt bring renewed dynamism and purposeful leadership to OSOPADEC.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa has once again shown that he is a leader who understands the importance of competence, loyalty, and community development. Prince Poroye is not only qualified but also has the passion and capacity to deliver on the mandate of the Commission,” Dr. Jimoh stated.
He further expressed confidence that the new OSOPADEC Chairman will justify the trust reposed in him by delivering people-oriented programmes that will uplift the socio-economic wellbeing of the oil-producing areas in the state.
Dr. Jimoh also urged stakeholders in the region to support Prince Poroye in his new role and to work together towards the collective development of the coastal communities.
